The Opportunity :

Reporting to the Provost and serving as a vital member of the university’s senior team, the Vice President for Research will provide strategic vision, innovation, and bold leadership to build on the successes of our distinguished faculty’s research, scholarship, and creativity.
The new Vice President will partner with senior leadership and faculty to create and realize an ambitious vision for research and scholarship to leverage current strengths and proactively address the challenging national and global research environment.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge about diverse funding sources and display innovative solutions to support research and scholarship across disciplines and approaches.
Strong leadership skills are imperative to bolster key infrastructure and enhance research capacity. The Vice President for Research should be able to bring together faculty from diverse backgrounds to enhance the university’s research locally, nationally, and internationally.
