As a Warehouse Management System Analyst II , youll be responsible for maintaining the functional effectiveness of WMS for multiple distribution centers across the country,and participate in ongoing systems upgrades.

Serving as the first point of contact for the user community, youll support issue validation and scoping, acting as the liaison between users and the IT team through to issue resolution.

This role requires 7+ years of experience with the Manhattan Systems Warehouse Management Open System.

Responsibilities include :

• Plan, execute analysis and implementation of future functionality usage within the WMOS product in concert with business users and IT members
• Implement WM Configuration; locations, printer, wave templates, etc.; maintain Configuration log
• Partner with Operations to trouble shoot and optimize operational processes
• Provide critical data for business and translate to DC staff in a practical manner, partnering to develop recommendations and solutions
• Smoothly interface with business partners to elicit and document requirements that may cross multiple functional areas and identify gaps
• Document complex process modeling and translate user needs into business and functional requirements
• Manage projects involving supply chain
• Provide on and off hour support as necessary for both East and West Coast operations
• Participate in functional portion of system issue resolution. Perform diagnostics of problems, troubleshoot and develop technical solutions for customer problems related to Warehouse Management Open System

Requirements include :

• 7+ years of experience with the Manhattan Systems Warehouse Management Open System
• BA / BS with a major in Business, Logistics, Engineering, IT or a closely related field, with Supply Chain experience
• Knowledge of Retail WMS (Manhattan Open System)
• Understanding of modification specs, writing and reviewing
• Familiar with constructing test requirements and test scripts
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Experience conducting detailed research and analysis including definition of business requirements.
• Complete understanding of the supply chain business processes including inbound and outbound and all in DC activities and their inter-relationships
• Proficient knowledge of the multiple supply chain and enterprise systems, ability to map and trouble shoot the interaction of these systems, to include : Manhattan WMOS, EIS, Dematic Pick Director, Dematic Sort Director, Data Logic, EDI technologies, Host business systems, LMS
• Proficient knowledge and experience using SQL Oracle
• Strong understanding of the use and configuration of printers, bar code readers, scales, PC terminals and RF terminals as necessary
• Ability to travel to support West coast operations up to 10%
• Proficient level knowledge of business processes related to the supply chain including stores operations, finance and merchandising.
