Touchmark on South Hill is Spokane’s leading Skilled Nursing community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities.
We are currently seeking candidates with a passion for excellent food and outstanding hospitality to join our team as a Cook or a Line Cook in our health care area.
As a Cook , you know the impact that a beautifully plated meal made from fresh ingredients has on a dining experience. You will be part of the team responsible for educating residents and team members about healthy food options, getting to know a community of wonderful people, and helping to ensure that we always maintain the Gold Standard in all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation.
The ideal candidate will :
- Have experience cooking in large scale quantity
- Be detailed oriented with plate appearance
- Be able to follow and design menus
- Have a current Food Worker’s Card
- Be committed to and passionate about 100% customer satisfaction
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least one year's experience working in a healthcare / high-volume kitchen
- Be able to lift and / or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet
for long periods of time
- Be willing to work weekends and some holidays
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with
residents, family members, visitors, and team members
