OneWorld operates fast-paced and exciting primary care clinics, and we are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team.

Our MA's are essential members of the clinical team, providing high-quality care to underserved populations in a culturally diverse setting.

MA's at OneWorld work at the top of their license; they prep patients for their appointments, check vitals, assist providers with procedures, prepare specimens, manage patient call lists, stock, and clean exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and order medical supplies.

We are offering full-time positions at our Northwest and Cass satellite clinics. The schedule will be 40 hours per week, generally;

Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm with rotating evening shifts, until 8 : 00pm, as needed for clinics.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High School Diploma / GED required OR must be actively pursuing a High School Diploma / GED.
  • Medical Assisting diploma required; current AAMA certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required within first 30 days of employment.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate preferred.
  • Medication Aide required within three months of hire.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office products required; prior experience with an Electronic Health Record is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English required for all locations; proficiency in Spanish required or preferred depending on clinic location and need.

Cass clinic, Spanish preferred.
