About The Position
Job Title : Surgical TechnicianJob Specialty : TechnicianJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 12-hour rotational shifts (Day / Night) with a floating requirementGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week (except for orientation week)Experience : Must have recent level one experienceLicense : Not specifiedCertifications : Not specifiedMust-Have : Ability to report within 30 minutes when on call, flu and COVID vaccinations are required (medical / religious declinations accepted)Job Description : - Work in the Operating Room unit, providing support to surgical teams.
- Participate in a 12-hour shift rotation, which may change within the same week.- Be available for every other weekend shift per the scheduling requirements.
- Be prepared to float and offer support to various areas as needed before or during shifts. Floating can occur multiple times within a shift.
- Be adaptable to being downstaffed or flexed for 4-hour increments based on staffing needs.- Wear navy blue scrubs as part of the dress code.
- Ensure timely responses to offers, with a 48-hour timeframe for acceptance or decline once an offer is received. Note : Candidates must be open to floating as part of their role and should be ready to assist in any area requiring additional support.
Orientation hours are included with the standard working hours.
