About The Position
ID : 63407063 Shift : 8H Nights 5x8s, for sure Friday & Saturday with 3 varied nights, first to float Description : Unit Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.
BLSCerts / ARRT & other specialty certification requirements California CRT & ARRT also CT ARRTHow many scanners / rooms does this department have2Common types of imaging / studies performed & Job DutiesBrain, ABD, pelvis, spine, biopsies, drainage, extemities, angio, cryoablationExperience or 'Must have' skillsAt least 2 years' experienceAverage # of scans / studies per day85-100EMR & / or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System : software & hardware) do they use : Radnet & Merge PACSDepartment Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) : Canon 16 slice & Canon 80 SliceRadiology Supervisor or Lead they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)NoRadiologist in-houseYes on days and on call after normal hoursDo they have to start IV's (if applicable to the department) : No IR nurse will start IVs if needed or floor and ED nurses for their patients having a CT procedureShifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling) : 12Hr shifts Weekend otherHoliday - 1 major & 1 minor holidayCall or Standby requirement Response timeNo stand by requiredScrub Color / Dress Code : Are scrubs providedTealDepartment specific orientationDone by the lead Technologist or one of the senior Techs Cancellation may cancel up to 3 times per contract.
Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
Charting BSN Required : No License to Trauma Level : Care Shift , for sure Friday & Saturday with 3 varied nights, first to float Required , BLS, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Contract Weeks : 13
