Director, Product Engineering - Design Optimization - 47989BR
This is an exciting opportunity to drive a high-performing product engineering team that is responsible for enabling Synopsys' EDA Group's industry-leading AI tools and flows used in chip design.
The Director of Product Engineering will play a critical role enabling the success of our customers in designing & verifying advanced chips on leading-edge process technologies.
You will steer a team that is partnering and collaborating with our top customers through our portfolio of advanced AI tools and flows to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.
You will work closely with customers and multiple internal groups including R&D, product management, program management, and sales teams to drive alignment, define initiatives, and deliver revenue growth through customer success.

Key Qualifications
- A self-directed and energetic team leader with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Direct knowledge of chip design and verification, including customer needs, and challenges.
- Ability to interact with and influence a wide variety of customers and functional groups, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
- Proven ability to lead and manage at senior levels with or without direct authority.
- Ability to persuade key decision-makers and manage strategic communication.
- Influential leader, interacting internally and externally with executive-level management.
- Networker with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- MSEE or equivalent required with a minimum of 12+ years of relevant semiconductor or EDA industry experience.
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $155,000 - $270,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
