JOB TITLE :

Concessions Food Service Worker - Men's Football

JOB PURPOSE : Our goal is to provide quality food with exception service to fans attending athletic events.

UW Athletic Concessions is hiring for the upcoming football season.

Game day work typically begins 5 hours before kickoff and ends 2 hours after the event concludes, typically an 8-9 hour day.

Additional setup and downtime hours are available. Food service and cash handling experience preferred. Employees must have a high attention to detail and be willing to learn.

Customer Service skills a must. Once again MUST be able to work all 7 home football games.

Must be able and willing to work all home football games. There are 6 home football games this season. Dates are all Saturdays : September 7, September 14, September 28, October 12,October 26, November 23.

Additionally we have High School State football games November 9th. If you cannot work these events please do not apply.

Additional hours available during the week.

Hourly Wage based on skills and experience, starting at $12.00-$13.00 / hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist with event setup, including following all policies and procedures as outlined in opening and closing checklists.
• Count and record inventory at the beginning and conclusion of each event.
• Aid in the efficiency of the stands
• Clean the stands before, during, and after the event
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Adhere to Athletics Customer Service standards at all times
• Assist with post-event cleanup.
• Plus any other duties that may be assigned.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY :

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : High School Diploma or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Food service and cash handling experience preferred
• Must have a high attention to detail and be willing to learn
• Customer service skills a must
