Project Manager
It is the Project Manager’s responsibility to protect and promote JGB Custom Homes interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to execute his / her duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following :
Provide leadership, establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with
all those involved in the project on a consistent / weekly basis
Project Schedule Manage & Update Weekly, clearly communicating delays in schedule,
selection needs, etc.
Ensure procurements of materials, lead times for fabrication, and field installations are
established and maintained
- Maintain & manage changes to initial scope of work through company policy procedures.
- Produce change orders which deviate from original formally signed scope & contract, apprising Clients & JGB Project Engineer with up to date and wholistic
budgetary information in a timely manner
- Daily Task Requirements on Build software :
- Jobsite Log with detailed descriptions of daily work, delays, injuries and the like
- Onsite Photos RFI’s / Submittals Receipt Submittals & Coding
- Participate as needed in pre-con meetings and duties assisting Project Engineer with buy-out & presentation efforts
- Manage jobsite cleanliness & safety and enforce throughout the duration of projects
- Maintain weekly consistent communications with OAC team- being a lead partner & team player
- Utilize skills to run multiple projects as efficiently as possible
- Coordinate the functions of scheduling, purchasing, and operations related to the progress and completion of the assigned project
- Maintain a thorough knowledge & understanding of all Contract documents related to the assigned project
- Review all drawings and specifications for deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations and bring them to a resolution
- Code and approve weekly invoices for assigned jobs via company policy and procedures including management of budgeted expenditures
- Implement quality control measures and maintain them throughout project
- Manage the access and security of assigned jobsites
- Contribute as needed in the ongoing work of providing Job-End Home Manuals complete with As-builts, pathways, Underground infrastructure, specifications & all other job specific information gathering
- Management of warranty items as needed on closed jobs
- Report to Executive Leadership Team (JGB President, Controller and Operations Director) on a bi-monthly job status schedule & budget meeting.
Project manager is directly supervised by Lead Project Manager & Operations Director
- Keep Clients apprised and updated via weekly Homeowner Reports
