J.P. Morgan is seeking an experienced creative Project Manager to be part of a newly-formed creative project management function within the Payments Marketing organization.
The Payments business is one of the most exciting and rapidly innovating areas in the entire financial services industry.
As a member of the marketing project management team, you will be instrumental in delivering groundbreaking marketing initiatives globally and fostering a culture of trust and accountability across the organization.
This position requires a blend of campaign project management, process, Workfront expertise, along with strong team-building skills.

Job responsibilities Partner with cross-functional team members to support the marketing team operating model while working hands-on with marketers and key lines of business to project manage select campaigns.
Coordinate campaign milestones, monitor the progress and schedule of associated mini-projects, provide oversight by reviewing, and accepting creative deliverables, and routinely communicate with creative agencies, project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties.
Work also includes coordinating timelines with internal and external teams on design, video, and online and digital needs to keep the campaign on time and on budget.
Manage all aspects of multiple projects and workflows at the same time by utilizing a well-organized process implemented through Workfront and our Operating Model while ensuring your schedules, risks, issues, and status reports are updated on a weekly basis.
Craft communications for various levels of stakeholders to drive accountability, escalation and awareness. Assist with layout, verbiage, and overall 'look and feel' to ensure consistency, clarity, and appropriateness of overall message.
Prepare and present status reports for senior executives by synthesizing complex information into clear messages. Effectively communicate financials, artifacts, and escalate issues or risks as needed to senior management.
Meet weekly with the full PM team to identify commonalities, address concerns, and share news, updates and best practices.
Use strong analytical skills to meet project management metrics and look for trends to help optimize the overall portfolio of work.
Reinforce best practices, workflows, and quality standards while helping to continuously assess and improve project management processes within the overall operating model framework.
Comfortable frequently soliciting feedback and reacts productively to criticism or negative feedback. A humble, dependable, transparent team player.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills At least 5-10 years of proven experience as a creative-oriented marketing project / program manager, preferably at a top tier agency and / or large in-house brand / creative studio.
Knack for leading and positively influencing matrixed teams and peers who thrives working with an ethnically, culturally, experience-based, and geographically diverse team.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools (particularly Workfront), methodologies, and best practices. Fluency across all types of creative and marketing such as social media, content development, video, and brand advertising.
Must be a creative problem-solving self-starter who enjoys working independently, has the tenacity to operate in the gray, and excels under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, speaking and writing skills that enable you to breakdown complex business problems and workflows into easily understandable components.
It is essential that you are adept at interfacing with all levels within the organization. Self-starter with a natural ability to manage multiple individuals, contingencies, and deadlines with very high standards of communication and output.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Prior experience in financial services, or complex regulatory environment a plus.
Certification, training, or experience in Agile, Scrum or PMP.
