Front-End Web Developer

BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) is seeking a Front-End Web Developer with experience in designing and developing UI for web applications / websites using the responsive design approach.

The ideal candidate will be part of our Design and Digital Experience Team, responsible for maintaining and innovating the company website, .

• Translate business needs into innovative web pages that are visually attractive while adhering to UX and UI standards to expand our website's influence in the industry.
• Provide proactive solutions, identifying and addressing problems independently.
• Deliver sustainable solutions using new technologies and best practices.
• Guide the team on new technologies and solutions.
• Resolve browser compatibility issues and ensure mobile view optimization.
• Multitask and manage different challenging / interesting projects based on priorities.

Essential Functions

• Create and support the BioLegend website, including site design and development, maintenance, updates, and optimization.
• A strong awareness of UX design principles and best practices, including wire-framing and user-flows
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow designers, web developers, content writers and project owners to deliver page designs on point and on time

Required Skills

• Proficient in CSS, HTML5, Typescript, JavaScript
• Experience with content management systems, particularly Drupal.
• Proven knowledge of front-end web development practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant development work experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proven knowledge of front-end web development best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• UX / UI development experience including knowledge in responsive design and mobile-first design philosophy
• PHP, React, Bootstrap, JQuery familiarity

$72,000-$80,000 / year
