Senior Consultant - Perioperative

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced consultant to help design, configure, activate and support the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs and Indian Health Service.

The Federal Consulting team is a group of hard-working, knowledgeable, passionate members who want to shape the electronic health records systems for active-duty service men and women, their beneficiaries, our Nation’s Veteran’s, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices.

Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

3-5+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health Perioperative product(s).

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.

Ability to travel as needed.Basic QualificationsAt least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including : At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and / or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experienceAt least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and / or completed higher educationReceipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your positionDue to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.

You will provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients.

You will mitigate solution risks and issues. You will execute workflow and process improvement strategies. You will lead client meetings and events.

86 to $60.63 per hour; from $51,700 to $126,100 per annum. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

11 paid holidaysPaid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
