ELECTRICAL JOURNEYMAN

Summary

National Power, LLC, is actively seeking multiple experienced Electrical Journeymen to join our Electrical Division! As a Journeyman, you will play a pivotal role in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in diverse settings.

The ideal candidate will possess not only technical expertise but also a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Execute installations, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Skillfully terminate electrical panels, circuit breakers, and transformers, ensuring proper connections and compliance with electrical codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and manufacturer's specifications, ensuring accurate implementation of project requirements.
• Install a variety of lighting fixtures with precision and attention to detail, ensuring proper functionality and alignment with project requirements and lighting controls specifications resulting in proper function.
• Safely and accurately install receptacles and electrical equipment with careful consideration of project specifications and electrical codes to guarantee a reliable power supply.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety awareness on job sites and during all electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and devices effectively, identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal functionality.
• If in a Lead Role : Complete all job-related documentation in detail, including project reports, installation records, and other relevant paperwork.
• If in a Lead Role : Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and execution of electrical installations.

Education & Experience

• A high school diploma or GED; Completion of four-year electrical apprenticeship is preferred.
• Possess 4 years of experience in commercial electrical installation, covering Tenant Improvements (TI's) and Ground-Up Construction from project initiation to completion.
• Demonstrate familiarity with OSHA and NFPA70 regulations, as well as standard electrical safety practices.
• Willingness to do the extraordinary on a daily basis.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive pay depending on previous experience and current certifications. Overtime is also a factor and is paid at 1.

5 X base. We are a performance-based company and pay will ultimately reflect the employee's productivity and overall performance.
