job summary : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

• Ensure general ledger accounts adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct and review account reconciliations for subsystem and GL accounts.
• Assist subsidiaries with account analysis and research.
• Collaborate on the development of functional specifications for projects and updates.
• Participate in testing new processes or changes to existing systems.
• Work closely with business analysts and subsidiaries to configure systems for accurate financial data.
• Lead audit control testing for subsystem reconciliations and update controls as needed.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Evaluate trends and investigate variances in account balances.
• Generate reports to support accounting activities and management decisions.
• Prepare management and statutory reports as required.
• Make recommendations to resolve issues and ensure corrections are implemented.
• Conduct accounting research as needed and promote teamwork within the department.
