As part of the National IT Identity & Access Management Product offerings, IAM is seeking a position to support, lead, and implement solutions to Identity Data Integrity and Standards work across the Federation Reserve System.
As an IAM Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering on the Identity Data Integrity and Standards vision of aligning data processes and standards that result in Identity data that is easy to use and understand, enables better decision making, fosters innovation, and helps create a durable Identity data layer that can serve as an authoritative source for automation tools and other Identity data users.
You will implement solutions through business engagement, knowledge of business needs and perspectives, active decision making, and technology delivery knowledge.
This will require working within agile teams to determine strategic direction and tactical implementation. You will be part of a strong, collaborative team in a fast-paced environment that is focused on quality development and delivery.
What You Will Do
The IAM Data Analyst works within an agile squad and focuses on performing in depth analysis of Identity data sets, providing input on standards, developing automated solutions to facilitate remediation to standards and ensuring the data stay aligned long term.
Job tasks include but are not limited to :
Collects, cleanses, analyzes, and validates data prior to use by the organization and / or its clients.
Constructs and applies standard statistical analysis and / or models to verify data acceptability / accuracy.
Configures, operates, and develops manual and / or automated methods, processes, and procedures to test output or input based on data compliance, quality and use requirements as established by product management, client specifications, and governance programs.
Ensures data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices. Plans, designs, develops, and performs quality assessments on data elements and structures to document and evaluate integrity, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of formats, records, and structures.
Gathers and enters missing data and resolves any anomalies.
Performs regular and ad hoc reviews, audits, and investigations of data activity and integrity; prepares reports and summaries of findings.
Produces, updates, and implements guidelines and documentation of policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
Identifies areas of improvement in data collection processes or systems and make recommendations to correct any deficiencies.
Works on Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes / projects, individually or as part of or in conjunction with a database / data warehouse team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and / or experience (information systems, data science, identity and access management, application integration) equal to 3 - 6 years.
Knowledge of applicable software development life cycle methodologies (e.g. Scaled Agile Framework)
Strong ability to work with others to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships.
Passion for data and comfort with ambiguity.
Advanced knowledge of IAM / AMP / Cloud identity access systems preferred.
Python and SQL scripting skills preferred
Lifetime learner interested in new tools / techniques to advance data analysis skills.
Self-starter with ability to solve problems by considering available information, prioritizing the work, and making timely decisions.
Ability to correlate data using standard business and technology tools and approaches, spot trends and apply sound security and risk management principles.

Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
