Pay Rate

What you will be doing as a Floating Hospice Registered Nurse, RN
- Traveling to see multiple clients at the Hospice Facility and also Hospice clients whom are still at home (Mileage Reimbursement applicable).
- Charting will be done using Home Care Home Base HCHB
- Performs physical and psychosocial assessment for all hospice patients.
- Develops a written plan of care for each patient.
- Provides end of life / hospice nursing care. Assesses patient's condition, initiates plan of care, re-evaluates, and updates as necessary.
- Assists in developing a pain management and symptom management plan to keep the patient as comfortable as possible.
- Reassess pain and notifies the primary care physician when pain is not manageable on the current medications.
- Responds to the physical, mental, social, and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families.
- Offers ongoing support and palliative care.
- Supervises Hospice Aides on every other week basis.
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs.
- Administering medications
- Helping during crisis situations
- Spiritual support
- Educating family caregivers
Some of our requirements :
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) through the state of Michigan
- Hospice experience
- Must be willing to travel to Macomb County, Wayne County, or Oakland County
- Must be able to commit to 3 Full, 8hour Working Days a week (Shifts may vary from 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm)
- Valid Driver’s License, and Auto Insurance
- Full Covid19 Vaccination (Booster not required at this time)
- Current CPR Card
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Fingerprinting
- TB Test
