Salary : Up to $18.00
Job Shift :
Monday - Friday 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm
Position Summary :
The Landscape Technician is responsible for maintaining the grounds and curb appeal.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Responsible for the day-to-day grounds’ maintenance and curb appeal.
- Maintains the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, and vendors.
- Compliance with company standards and applicable laws, e.g., Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, OSHA, and EEOC
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all team members
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.
- Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
- Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
- Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
- Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
- Rake, mulch, and compost leaves.
- Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver license
- English language proficiency
- Great customer service
- Knowledge of environmental / industrial hazards as they apply to residential housing
