Job Summary
Elev8 New Media is seeking a skilled and proactive public relations expert to drive media and PR strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients across local, national, and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement progressive public relations strategies for a diverse portfolio of local, national, and international clients to secure media coverage across various platforms.
- Coordinate and execute press tours, facilitating direct interactions between clients and influential media entities to enhance brand visibility and messaging.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and social media engagement metrics, utilizing insights to refine and adjust strategies for maximum impact.
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with both local and national teams within Elev8 New Media, fostering a synergistic environment that leverages collective expertise and resources.
- Maintain an acute awareness of industry dynamics, media trends, and the evolving news cycle to anticipate and capitalize on media opportunities.
- Participate actively in client and team calls, providing insightful contributions and maintaining open lines of communication for optimal strategy development and implementation.
- Work closely with management on a daily basis, ensuring strategic alignment and providing updates on campaign progress and media engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role within an agency environment. Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful client campaigns.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft compelling stories and communicate effectively with clients, media, and team members.
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with client objectives and market opportunities.
- Proficiency in PR tools (i.e. Muck Rack, Cision).
