Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a SCADA Migration project within the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Ignition SCADA implementations and a strong background in the Oil and Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Leadership :
- Lead the SCADA Migration project, including the replacement of hardware and associated software components.
- Oversee the building and migration of HMI screens using Perspective.
- Project Management :
- Plan, execute, and deliver SCADA projects, ensuring they meet technical, financial, and human resource requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Vendor and Partnership Management :
- Manage relationships with multiple vendors and partners to ensure project requirements are met.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Technical Coordination :
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SCADA systems.
- Oversee testing and commissioning phases to ensure systems meet performance standards.
- Financial Oversight :
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Technical Expertise :
- Extensive experience with Ignition SCADA implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and their applications in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Project Management :
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale SCADA projects.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Communication :
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with SCADA system migrations in the Oil and Gas industry.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
