We are seeking a Marketing Specialist in our St. Louis Office for our Lighting One Division.This multi-faceted position specializing in digital marketing and advertising programs to support and deliver strategies that improve local Lighting One cooperative showroom performance and Lighting One national brand growth.
They must work effectively with multiple stakeholders, team members and Lighting One cooperative showrooms. Responsibilities will evolve over time, so your eagerness and flexibility to change is important.

Our Marketing Specialist will :
- Assist the Director of Lighting One Marketing with supporting and executing marketing and Ecommerce programs for our Lighting Member showrooms to drive their business both in-showroom and online.
- Develop and execute the National Marketing Calendar utilizing the digital marketing agency to create and deliver the marketing tactics including social, email, blog posts and website updates.
- Develop, execute, and manage new marketing programs or campaigns at the direction of the VP of Lighting One Marketing or the Director of Lighting One Marketing.
- Direct and manage the national AMP vendor marketing program. This includes selling the program to key lighting suppliers, scheduling marketing campaigns and measuring and reporting results back to the AMP participants.
- Work with team members to create materials that communicate benefits of being a Lighting One member and market the marketing on a regular basis utilizing a variety of tactics such as email, video, and webinars.
- Assist the Director to recruit members into the marketing program and participate in member related aspects of convention attendance and on-site requirements for convention.
Do our requirements match YOUR background?
Bachelor’s degree in advertising / marketing or equivalent relevant experience, and 3+ years of experience in marketing, strategy, and program development.
Ecommerce and social media management experience a plus.
- Excellent personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication ability, with selling skills to support marketing program participation and excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate with corporate staff in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner.
- Must have attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects.
