Position Overview :
They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance coverage disputes and a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations.
This role involves providing legal advice, handling coverage disputes, and representing clients in litigation related to insurance matters.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret insurance policies, coverage issues, and related documents.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding insurance coverage and claims.
- Represent clients in coverage disputes, including drafting legal pleadings and motions.
- Conduct legal research and stay current with insurance law and industry trends.
- Negotiate settlements and work closely with clients and insurance adjusters.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on complex cases.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in Washington.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage law or related field.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with complex coverage disputes and high-stakes litigation.
- Background in representing insurance companies or policyholders.
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal insurance regulations.
