Shift : Days / 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm / Monday-Friday

Status : Full Time / 40hr week

Location : Akron Campus Central Processing / Supply

Summary :

Participates in the inventory activities of Surgical Services Departments (OR, Endo, PAT, SDS, PACU) to ensure timely and accurate ordering and processing of receipts of supplies, delivery of supplies and equipment, and accurate keying into requisitioning system resulting expenses for the using departments.

Plans, organizes, and identifies supplies for Surgical Services to best serve customers. Evaluates operation efficiencies to effect savings.

Initiates and promotes cost reduction plans.

Formal Education Required

Associate’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field or equivalent combination of education and / or experience which has provided skills in inventory management

Experience and Training Required

• One (1) Year related supply distribution, receiving experience preferred.
• One (1) year inventory management experience including inventory software experience preferred

Level of Physical Demands

Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and / or ten to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects

$18.43 / hr - $22.12 / hr

The salary range on this job posting / advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
