Job Summary :
As a Senior SoftwareEngineer in the Frontoffice Engineering organization you will workclosely with Quantitative Researchers and Portfolio Managers.
Yourchallenges will be varied and may include onboarding new datasetsimplementing new trading signals developing portfolio optimizationtools building data visualization frameworks enhancing researchplatforms and performance tuning existing code using efficientnumerical algorithms and clustercomputing solutions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop missioncritical production systems forquantitative applications
- Work with largedatasets both structured and unstructured
- Implement and optimize trading signals and portfoliotools
- Enhance and maintain researchplatforms
- Collaborate with QuantitativeResearchers and Portfolio Managers
- Contributeto continuous improvement of development processes and bestpractices
Qualifications : I.Education :
I.Education :
- Degree withhigh mathematical and computing content (e.g. Computer ScienceMathematics Engineering or Physics)
- Strongacademic record
II.Experience :
- 57 yearsof professional experience in software engineering preferably witha focus on quantitative applications
- Experience developing missioncriticalproduction systems
- Demonstrated experienceworking with large data sets
Knowledge Skills & Abilities :
- Expert knowledge of Python and Pandas
- Proficiency with scientific libraries including NumPySciPy statsmodels and scikitlearn
- Strong Linuxskills and understanding of Git
- Workingknowledge of database technologies like MS SQL Postgres orMongoDB
- Experience with distributed computingtechnologies (e.g. Spark Dask Kubernetes) is a plus
- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments isadvantageous
- Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills
- Strong interpersonal andcommunication abilities
