We are seeking a Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project estimating, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Perform inspections for repairs / mitigation estimating as needed
- Consulting with customers, adjusters and affiliates as needed
- Creating scopes of work, estimates, photo sheets and necessary paperwork for mitigation / repair jobs
- Writing initial estimates, revisions, and supplements as needed and updating status in appropriate portals and files
- Following up with status of approvals up until billing
- Communicating with adjusters / customers as needed during the course of review / approval
- Reviewing estimates at the completion of project to ensure accuracy
- Communicating with all necessary parties both internal and external in order to streamline assignments / jobs
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Previous experience in property insurance preferred
- Experience with estimating in Xactimate and Symbility
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
