The Assistant Medical Director's primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive veterinary care to our patients, while maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive work environment for the veterinary team.
The AMD is also responsible for upholding the mission, vision, and values of the organization within the hospital. They work in close partnership with the medical director, hospital director, and leadership team to ensure the hospital's success by assisting as a medical subject matter expert, assisting to oversee the entire medical team, and driving operational excellence.
Concord, known for its lower cost of living in comparison to the Peninsula, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco, is near beautiful Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
