Responsibilities :
- Monitor equipment settings and operations to maintain proper functionality according to company standards.
- Control process standards for mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding.
- Ensure adequate material supply to meet production requirements.
- Monitor completion of process control and quality assurance documents for accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct training for hourly employees on job functions, Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, and company policies.
- Complete required documents and reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain communication with department head regarding employee, equipment, process control, quality, safety, or sanitation issues.
- Report maintenance and sanitation issues to respective departments for resolution.
- Provide counsel and discipline employees as needed to maintain a safe, sanitary, and productive workplace.
- Address and resolve employee grievances at the initial level.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to work on feet for entire shift. Weekend work required when scheduled
- Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Work in high ambient temperatures.
Qualifications :
- Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills : Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), good communication and leadership skills.
- Experience : 3 years of manufacturing experience, 1 year of supervisory experience.
