Programming Analyst

Olivia Quinlan from Robert Half Technology is hiring for a Mid-Level Senior Analyst in Buffalo, NY.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Programming Analyst to join a dynamic IT team in Buffalo. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, problem-solving abilities, and a keen interest in enhancing business operations through technology solutions.

This role involves analyzing business requirements, developing and maintaining software applications, and collaborating with various departments to implement technology solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development or a related role.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems, including SQL programming and scripting.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web intranet editing (.NET).
• Knowledge of C# / C++ is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with other programmers.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and pivot priorities as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Work Environment :

Location : Mostly on-site with the potential for hybrid work after the training period.
