Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Consults with HR team and HR Director to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
  • Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers and HR Director.
  • Checks candidates' references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
  • Counsels candidates on the interview and hiring process.
  • Submits Background check requests and follows up on results.
  • Conducts new employee orientation
  • Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Works diligently with HR Director to manage day to day HR related matters.
  • Conducts successful and efficient communication with different ARS Departments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fair knowledge of Caregiving recruitment and placement.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Education and Experience :

  • At least two years of recruiting or Human Resources related experience
  • AA Degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Hire on bonus $1000 available and is distributed as follows :

  • $500 at 30 days
  • $500 after completion of a successful 90 day review
