The Relationship Development Manager supports the Banks goal of becoming a high-performing bank, recognized as the Business Bank of Choice for businesses, their owners, and employees by delivering a highly differentiated client experience. Develop an advisory approach to grow, nurture, and expand client relationships by understanding our niche markets and needs, tailoring solutions to meet client objectives and streamline day-to-day banking, resolve issues, and engage internal partners to bring additional expertise and value to these relationships.
- Create a plan to expand and deepen client relationships holistically addressing both business and personal objectives.
- Engage our Private Banking and Wealth Management partners in the development of customized solutions for our businesses, their owners, and employees.
- Proactively introduce internal partner expertise to relationships for client guidance and support through business and personal life cycle transitions.
- Explore incorporating additional product and services offerings into our Healthcare and Professional niche market presentations and outreach to heighten awareness for our comprehensive suite of services. (ex : Business Credit Card Offerings and 401K Plans for the Practice Acquisition Clients, Complimentary Financial Reviews, Private Banking Accounts).
- Implement an exceptional and consistent client experience for our Healthcare, Professional, and HOA clients.
- Share the Oregon Healthcare relationship onboarding strategy with all Healthcare, Professional, and HOA teams.
- Lead our teams through proactive identification of opportunities to expand and deepen relationships more efficiently when servicing requests and through periodic relationship reviews.
- Facilitate Servicing Support Team Member collaborative discussions to share onboarding and servicing best practices, identify opportunities to expand skills sets and streamline processes, and nurture client relationships.
- Develop a support structure that assists our relationship managers with the larger more complex relationships.
- Additional objectives, projects, and duties may be assigned to support the growth and differentiated client experience initiatives of our Healthcare, Professional, and HOA teams and bank.
- Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Banks written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
- Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.
- Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.

Our Benefits :
We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $81,000.00 - $130,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
