• Location : Asheville, NC 28801 (Blue Ridge Mountains)\n
• Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n
• Start Date : November 17, 2025\n
• End Date : February 16, 2026\n
• Shift : 12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Unit : Neuro Trauma ICU (NTICU), 20 beds\n
• Dress Code : Navy blue top and bottom, or navy bottom with white top\n
• Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630–$1750 per week\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (trauma ICU or surgical ICU background required)\n
• Proficiency with ICU equipment : Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial lines, CVC lines\n
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience with Cerner preferred\n
• Preferred : TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) certification\n
• Strong teamwork and communication skills\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n
• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting\n
• Assist with and perform advanced procedures : central line, chest tube, arterial line insertions, percutaneous tracheostomies\n
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced ICU equipment (CRRT, ICP monitors, wound vacs)\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
• Float as needed to other critical care units : MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, PCU\n
