Growing Company in Albuquerque, NM, with a new opportunity for a Customer Service Representative role within an Extended Business Office setting. This position is only remote for the first month and then on-site in Elk Grove and offers a chance to contribute to a mission-driven health care environment by supporting patient financial services.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Delivering excellent customer service to patients and resolving billing issues in collaboration with internal departments.
• Researching and reconciling remittance advice and patient account discrepancies.
• Reviewing and processing credit balances and patient refunds.
• Verifying health insurance information and processing patient credit card payments.
• Handling patient inquiries, complaints, and billing concerns via phone, email, and in person.
• Registering patients for hospital discount and charity care programs.
• Performing administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and responding to mail.
• Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and local / state / federal billing regulations.

This role does not involve direct patient care, but you’ll play a vital part in supporting the patient experience from a financial and administrative standpoint.
