Industrial Maintenance Technician - $25.00 an Hour  Monday-Friday 6 : 00 am-2 : 30 pm,  Wednesday - Sunday 6 : 00 am - 2 : 30 pm, and Overnight shifts available  Columbus, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Work in a safe and professional manner including following lockout and tagout procedures.
• Clean and lubricate production machinery.
• Perform PM’s oil change use as per outlined by OEM’s.
• Visually inspect the machine’s lubrication systems and make minor repairs as needed.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance procedures such as oil changes and filter cleaning.
• Clean and lubricate maintenance department machine tools (mills, lathes, etc.)
• Assist other mechanics wherever possible.
• Make mechanical repairs without direct supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on all types of production equipment.
• Responsible for keeping the maintenance department clean and orderly.
• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and modification of all types of production equipment. Some troubleshooting is required.
• Communicate clearly with other employees daily to share information to ensure that the team meets production goals.

Job Qualifications :

1.Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

2.Reasonable physical abilities are required to perform the duties of the job

3.Must be able to follow written instructions and understand basic prints and diagrams

4.Must understand machine shop safety procedures

5.Must have basic fabrication skills (cutting, welding, etc.)

6.Must have forklift certification
