Senior Hardware Engineer, Lead, Digital Design, Energy System, Hybrid, Dallas
Lead the development of hardware subsystems from inception to production release. You will be responsible for all facets of hardware design, including schematic design and overseeing PCB layouts. Assess the manufacturability of hardware, including BOM, fabrication, assembly, packaging, and process / techniques used in production. Work in a can-do environment with less bureaucracy.

What will you be doing?
Report to the CTOWork in a small team of 5 Engineers, Software, and QALead and senior role overseeing all hardware design and development and working with contract manufacturing through releaseNew digital board design, ensure all features and functionality are incorporated into the designDesign for testability and manufacturabilityProvide and maintain a schedule for prototype and early production deliverables.Generate and maintain Bill of Materials(BOMS)Investigate and specify new components as neededWrite test plans for component qualification and design verification.Perform sustaining engineering tasks involving legacy products as neededConduct hardware test plansWork with the contract manufacturer to resolve any quality issuesWork with compliance agencies when product certifications are requiredWhat are the minimum qualifications?
Bachelor or Master in Electrical EngineeringSenior level experience, prefer 8+ yearsHigh-speed digital board design and memory system designPCB schematics and layout experienceExperience with PADS or similar PCB design softwareExperience with test methodologies and use of test equipmentExperience working with contract manufacturers or in-house manufacturingExperience working with product certification and compliance agencyExperience with test methodologies and use of test equipmentVery good to excellent communication skillsWhat will make your résumé stand out?
