ER RN Job Details Position : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Location : Muskegon, MI 49444 (Lake Michigan area) Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center Start Date : November 14, 2025 End Date : February 13, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Guaranteed Hours : Yes Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990-$2130 Charting System : Epic EMR Scrub Color : Royal blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted) Minimum 1.5 years of recent ER nursing experience in an acute care hospital (2 years preferred) Required certifications : TNCC, ACLS, BLS Prior travel nursing experience required Experience with Epic charting system preferred Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) At least one professional reference required Local candidates (within 75 miles) not accepted ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide expert emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced trauma center Manage patient ratios averaging 1 : 5 Perform advanced ER nursing procedures : arterial line management, central line care, IV sedation, ventilated patient management Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in a Level I Trauma Center setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including radiology, transportation, and unit secretaries Float to other campuses as needed (excluding trauma / rescue rooms, triage, and locked behavioral health units) Complete orientation and required modules pre-start and annually Discover Michigan healthcare jobs and enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Michigan, local parks, and a thriving downtown in Muskegon.
