Crouse’s 36-bed Recovery Care Center (RCC) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide c are for patients whose procedures / treatments require less than a 24-hour hospital stay. The RCC serves a population ranging in age from 14 to 65+ years.

Pay Range : $39.00 - $50.00 / hour.

up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, $5,000 sign-on bonus for newly graduated RNs !

Available Schedule(s) :

Part-time, 20 hours / week : 10 : 00pm-6 : 30am, 10 : 30pm-7 : 00am, 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm with rotating holidays & other shifts as needed

(This position works two shifts one week of the pay period, and three shifts the other week of the pay period. The primary shift for this position is nights, but the position may rotate to evenings to help cover paid time off. )

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities :

• Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
• Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
• Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
• Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment / plan of care during hospital stay.
• Utilizes and engages in evidence-based practice to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem-solving situations.

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements :

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred.
