Chiller / HVAC - Service Technician IV

Job Summary

Performs inspections, testing, repairs, and planned maintenance of advanced and complex Heavy Commercial Centrifugal & Chiller systems. Teardown experience is a plus.

Essential Duties

• Service, Operates, Maintains and Troubleshoots more complex Chillers (air - cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, water - cooled chillers) systems. Ability to do full teardown.
• Coordinates work processes on large projects. Performs disassembly and reassembly of large commercial equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance as indicated in the service agreement. Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
• Completes service contracts, quoted projects and demand service calls as directed. Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.

Ability to provide customer solutions to customers. Communicates and documents project status to all project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 7+ years of experience Chiller Commercial Service.

Full teardown is required.

Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques and codes is required.

Proficient in reading complex schematics and prints

Able to perform as a self-managed individual

Must be able to display a professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capabilities.
