Overview
Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Product Program Manager , located on-site in Sauk Rapids, MN . This position oversees projects within the semiconductor industry, from concept to completion. They develop detailed program plans, manage budgets, collaborate with teams, and assess education and training initiatives. Their role is crucial in ensuring successful execution and achieving program goals.

Specific job duties :
- Manage, communicate, and implement plans consistent with organizational expectations, time frames and budgetary guidelines.
- Develop, manage and execute project plans (objectives, goals, scope, schedules resources costs, and dependencies) that are integrated and synchronized with other areas of the business adjusting plans as required to ensure successful delivery of commitments and use of resources.
- Document, present, and obtain approval of program requirements, goals, objectives, plans, and schedules that include the following : testing plans, baseline measurement, outcome goals, project budget, budget tracking methodology, risk assessment and change management process.
- Assist with researching, developing, obtaining approval for services and resources required in response to program needs.
- Identifies milestones, tasks and activities through prescribed program management and development techniques and methodologies.
- Manages own activities to accomplish milestones and meet schedules. Manages customer expectations, provides management reports, and escalates issues appropriately.
- Participate in a team that implements systems to achieve and maintain expected outcomes.
- Develop metrics for continual evaluation of program throughput and performance
- Understands project “big picture” and impact on organization. Take a strategic approach to planning and managing all aspects. Balances short- and long-term requirements and resource allocation.
Position requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience working within a complex cross-functional business environment.Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with international partners, stakeholders and teamsStrong attention to detail.Able to work within strict deadlines.Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Experience with Bills of Material in an ERP / MRP System.Engineering or technical experience within a manufacturing environment.Experience leading small cross functional teams or managing projects.Ability to create charts and communicate changes to peers and management.Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and critical thinking.Accurate, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.Able to set priorities as situations change.Solid communicator, fluent in both written and verbal English.Desired skills :
Regular use of Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on advanced proficiency.Previous bill of material experience and product knowledge.Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnelCapable of understanding schematics and models of individual components as well as complete machine assembly drawings.Familiarity with Change Planning (ECO, ECR, ECN)Familiarity with lean terminology and ideologyGeneral operations and manufacturing experienceWhat Will Put You AheadKnowledge of Bill of Materials and an Oracle / Agile super user.Semiconductor industry and material planning or program management experience.Knowledge of machining, plastic welding, orbital welding, system integration assembly, and testing processes
