Overview

Burnett Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Market Expansion Manager - Commercial Construction to lead our strategic client acquisition and relationship-building efforts. This role is pivotal in expanding our footprint in the commercial construction market by identifying, cultivating, and securing new client relationships while maintaining a strong understanding of preconstruction and project management principles. The ideal candidate will be based in the OKC area and bring experience in both business development and general contracting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, architects, developers, and industry partners.
• Represent Burnett Construction at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with the preconstruction and project management teams to align client needs with service capabilities.
• Develop marketing strategies and outreach efforts to grow the client base.
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and business development metrics.
• Support the development of project proposals, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity.
