Overview
This position works with the Clinical Director to help oversee delivery of services at an Intensive Residential Treatment Services program. Supervises personnel to achieve service, clinical, and financial objectives within general resources and reimbursement models. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements through quality assurance activities. This position will provide services that promote a person-centered approach and facilitates independence.
Responsibilities
- Supervises assigned staff
- Crisis Assessment and medical / behavioral emergency
- Conducts variety of assessments such as suicidal, Vestibular Assessment, immediate needs, functional, living skills, and resource acquisitions
- Complete Interpretative summaries
- Develops crisis / treatment / behavioral plans and goals for clients
- Writes Progress notes, summaries, and discharges
- Group and Individual Counseling services
- Skills Teaching
- Case Management
- Household management
- Implements the treatment / rehabilitative activities and strategies
- Crisis Prevention
- Medication Administration
- Reports significant / major incidents or accidents
- Cooperates in external / internal investigations as requested.
- Establishes high levels of mutual trust and support with others
- Provides coaching / learning environment
- Identifies successes and areas for improvement for employees.
- Expresses positive expectations of others, even in difficult situations
- Delegates tasks or responsibilities for the purpose of developing other’s abilities
- Rewards good performance and promotes employee recognition.
- Coordinates staff training designated to meet staff educational needs, licensing standards and consumer needs
- Encourages staff to report issues of non-compliance through appropriate channels
- Complete Employee evaluations when scheduled
- Provides and promotes consumer choice and facilitate independence
- Supervises operations to ensure compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements
- Performs other duties designed to improve employee effectiveness as a member of the team
- Promoting the operation in a positive manner to the community and outside agencies
- Promotes / encourages community integration and choice making

Qualifications
Minimum of 2000 hours (post Bachelors degree) of verifiable work experience providing services and support to individuals with mental illness requiredValid driver’s license and car insurance requiredSupervisory experience preferredAbility to communicate verbally and in writingExperience in managing systems, processes, and peopleOperate general office equipmentGood organizational skills and attention to detailCapable of working responsibly with highly confidential informationMust be able to work independently as well as part of a team
