Senior Consultant

We are seeking professionals who want to build off their accounting experience and use such knowledge on exciting advisory projects that add great value to our clients within their finance, accounting, and operation departments. Work You'll Do

As Senior Consultant, you will interact with clients directly. Not only will you work independently, but you'll also collaborate with a diverse group of talented professionals. You'll use our cutting-edge tools and technology. Other responsibilities will include :

• Provide timely client service, deliver high quality work and strengthen client relationships
• Assist teams in providing technical accounting advice and preparing detailed calculations in areas such as :
• Revenue Recognition and related costs (ASC 606 and ASC 340-40)
• Leases
• Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL)
• Stock-based compensation
• Financial instruments and hedging
• Business combinations and consolidations
• Foreign currencies
• Earnings per share
• Capitalization of internal use software and website development costs
• Be part of a team that assists clients with the accounting and reporting aspects of transactions including acquisitions, equity, and debt
• Be part of a team that assists clients in preparing the financial and reporting aspects of an IPO
• Assist clients in complying with SEC financial reporting requirements (10Ks, 10Qs and other filings)
• Assist with drafting private and public company financial statements
• Assist clients in preparing for and completing audits, and liaising with the auditors
• Support growth efforts through pursuits, market research and maintaining a network of peers.
• Think creatively, problem solve and work independently and as a team in a fast paced environment
• Perform research and expand your technical accounting expertise

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $73,430 to $164,190.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
