Distribution Center Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Distribution Center Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center. This role involves supervising a team of warehouse employees, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory, optimizing processes for operational efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in logistics or warehousing, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse employees to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, shipments, and returns.
• Oversee the loading, unloading, and storage of goods, ensuring proper handling and organization.
• Ensure all operations are compliant with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and assist in the training and development of staff.
• Optimize workflows and identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure accurate documentation of inbound and outbound shipments and maintain up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments, such as procurement and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
• Address and resolve any operational issues or customer concerns related to distribution activities.
