Your Position
As a Controls Project Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and commissioning automation control systems, mainly using PLCs and industrial PCs (FSC). You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, programming, and commissioning of automation systems using PLCs and FSC.
- Maintain control system documentation, including specifications, software, and system architecture.
- Coordinate with mechanical and electrical teams for seamless integration.
- Lead site commissioning and troubleshoot during start-up.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers to clarify technical details and resolve issues.
- Train operational and maintenance staff on system functionalities.
- Monitor system performance and analyze incidents for corrective actions.
- Contribute to engineering standards and quality assurance improvements.
- Ensure safety standards and compliance with regulations.
Your Profile
You bring technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's in Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Control Systems Engineering.Experience with industrial automation and control systems.Hands-on PLC programming experience (e.g., TIA Portal, Siemens, Allen-Bradley).Knowledge of TCP / IP communications.Familiarity with SCADA / HMI and fieldbus technologies.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to understand electrical schematics and create documentation.Effective communication in Spanish and English (minimum B2).Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~60%).Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting in field environments.Team player with transparent communication.Our Offer
