Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Supervise others in performing client's service requirements
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Foster motivation and morale
• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
• Interface with the client and project resources as necessary to provide asset management functions and data management services
• Perform and document qualifications on laboratory instrumentation (i.e. HPLC, GC, KF, UV-Vis, etc.)
• Perform urgent / priority repairs including user accessible consumables (i.e. lamps, pumps, seals, tubing, etc.)
• Execute scheduled and post-maintenance instrument qualifications
• Participate in instrument onboarding activities
• Report on metrics and appropriate document service on instruments
• Coordinate and escort vendors on-site to perform maintenance activities on instruments on contract
• Input data into electronic asset management system (GMARS)
• Assist with change controls and investigations as needed
• Bachelor's degree in life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and 2 or more years of directly related industry experience
• HPLC, GC, KF, UV-Vis,
• Experience with asset management system (GMARS) is preferred
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Position is full-time, 8 : 00 am- 5 : 00 pm Overtime as needed.
