Job Summary : Sunshine Home Health is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support our home health and outpatient therapy teams, including Worx Physical Therapy . This role is essential for coordinating CNA and clinician schedules , managing patient documentation , and overseeing office and medical supply inventory . Location : 225 North 200 West, Logan, Utah Schedule : Full-Time | MondayFriday | Day Shift Pay Range : $18.00 $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant at Sunshine Home Health, you'll play a vital role in coordinating patient care and supporting our nursing, therapy, and CNA teams. You'll ensure accurate documentation, effective scheduling, and seamless collaboration across our home health and outpatient services - including Worx Physical Therapy , our on-site outpatient therapy partner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative and clerical support to clinical and management staff
- Maintain and organize patient documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA and agency policies
- Coordinate and update clinician and CNA schedules for home visits and patient care assignments
- Collaborate closely with Worx Physical Therapy to support outpatient therapy scheduling, documentation, and communication
- Order office supplies and manage medical supply inventory , ensuring staff and patients have necessary resources
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to field staff and supervisors
- Assist with billing, insurance authorizations, and medical documentation tracking
- Answer phones, route calls, and greet visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and maintain office filing systems
- Support onboarding, training, and compliance for new employees
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care

Required :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)Minimum 1 year of administrative or office experience ( healthcare preferred )Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inventory managementProfessional, compassionate, and dependable attitudePreferred :
