$20.84 / hr Job type : Full time Location : La Plata Hours : 7 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m. We are looking for a compassionate, patient, and motivated Personal Community and Employment Professional to work one-on-one with a 21-year-old woman.In this role, you’ll provide personalized support at her day program and in the community helping her explore activities, build meaningful relationships, and achieve her personal goals. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others grow, values connection, and is excited to make a real difference in someone’s life while also assisting with goals and daily supports. About the Person You’ll Be Supporting She is a caring, fun-loving, and social young woman who enjoys small groups, music, and laughter.Her favorite activities include :
Singing and playing the keyboard Going outside and enjoying the breeze Riding in the car with the windows down Watching Frozen and Pocahontas Relaxing in her recliner Eating pudding Spending time with people who are patient and kind She thrives when supported by someone who communicates clearly, encourages her with positive praise, and helps her stay engaged in activities she loves while also introducing her to new opportunities.
