We are seeking a Permanent Tax Advisor to join our dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This role is a unique blend of technical tax expertise, strategic planning, and client advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estate planning, tax planning, and fiduciary responsibilities, as well as a keen understanding of 1040 forms and a CPA certification.

Responsibilities :

As a Tax Advisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

1. Providing strategic tax planning and consulting to high net worth clients.

2. Reviewing complex tax returns including federal and multi-state returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.

3. Assisting clients with estate, gift, and trust planning.

4. Advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, evaluating and selecting alternative actions to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance.

5. Identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations while acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.

6. Involvement in client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions to the client.

Job Details

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Tax Advisor role should have the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services firm providing tax planning services or a similar role.

2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.

3. Extensive experience with 1040 forms and a deep understanding of tax codes, compliance and procedures.

4. Proven experience in estate planning and fiduciary responsibilities.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving and research skills.

6. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.

7. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

8. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and tax preparation software.
