Job Title : Receiving Inspector

Location : Seymour, CT

Pay Rate : $21–$26 / hr

Shift : 1st shift 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm

Summary

Adecco is assisting a local client in Seymour, CT, in the search for a Receiving Inspector. The ideal candidate will inspect a wide variety of electronic components, bare PCBs, and mechanical components for conformance to customer documentation and industry standards. This role requires the ability to work with minimal or no supervision while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform incoming inspections on bare PCBs per IPC-A-600 and inspect electrical and mechanical components.

Examine quality of workmanship to ensure compliance with customer documentation and industry standards.

Verify documentation accuracy, including Certificates of Conformity, FAI reports, and test data.

Conduct conformal coating inspections as assigned.

Follow established procedures for identifying and handling nonconforming materials.

Assist engineering in developing quality inspection plans.

Manage and publish inspection reports.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in electronics manufacturing.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to read and speak English fluently.

Basic component identification and soldering knowledge.

Experience using MICRO-VU camera-based measuring systems preferred; programming experience a plus.

Competence with basic hand tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Comfortable reading customer documentation and using digital manufacturing execution systems.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay Details : $21.00 to $26.00 per hour
