Overview Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Adult Surgical Unit team. The LPN will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to adult patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or dealing with acute medical conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, teamwork, and a commitment to patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Assist in dressing changes, wound care, and post-surgical care according to physician orders. Observe and report changes in patient conditions, including symptoms, reactions to treatments, or changes in vital signs. Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans for patients. Provide patients and families with instructions regarding post-discharge care, medication regimens, and follow-up appointments. Adhere to infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and sterile techniques.
