We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Field Operations to lead our field teams and drive operational success.

Job Summary

The Director of Field Operations will oversee all field activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management of field operations, including crew supervision, project scheduling, and client coordination. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the concrete or construction industry and a proven track record of managing large-scale field operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership : Oversee all field operations, including project execution, crew management, and equipment utilization, to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Project Management : Plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
  • Team Supervision : Lead, mentor, and develop field crews, foremen, and supervisors to maintain a high-performing and safety-conscious workforce.
  • Client Relations : Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Safety Compliance : Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Budget and Resource Management : Monitor project costs, optimize resource allocation, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Quality Control : Ensure all work meets company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in flatwork concrete construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of flatwork concrete processes, including formwork, pouring, finishing, and curing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

    • Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary : $250,000 per year
  • Bonus : Performance based. Estimate : $100,000
  • Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and company car.
