This newly created position will be a member of the plant EHS Department, will report to the plant EHS Manager and support a large manufacturing facility in the Newport News, Virginia area.

About the Role

This role will work closely with facility supervisors and support them through training in areas of investigations (ID root cause, make recommendations) and behavioral training related to human performance safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Must have at least one year of plant safety experience within heavy industrial manufacturing operations.
• Focus on safety prevention versus reaction.
• Outstanding career growth into other EHS leadership roles within larger facilities or corporate and divisional locations.
